1. Colin and Chris Weir: £161 million

Colin Weir and his wife Chris are the biggest lottery winners in the UK by far. The couple, who have been married for over 30 years, won £161 million in July 2011. Both Colin and Chris are from Scotland and they have used their money to fund social and political causes in Scotland. They have also spent a lot on buying mansions and expensive cars.

2. Adrian and Gillian Bayford: £148 million

Gillian Bayford and her husband Adrian are the second biggest lottery winners in the UK. You can see them in the picture above. Both Gillian and Adrian are in their 40s. Before winning the lottery prize of £148 million, Gillian was a nurse in a children’s hospital while Adrian was a record seller. The couple plan to spend their money on traveling and on trips to the Disney World as well as to the Rocky Mountains in Canada.

3. Anonymous: £113 million

The third biggest lottery in Britain was a EuroMillions jackpot of $113 million, won by an anonymous person.

4. Neil Trotter: £107.9 million

Neil Trotter, a 41-year old car mechanic from the town of Bolton is the fourth biggest lottery winner in the UK, winning a EuroMillions jackpot of £107.9 million in March, 2014. Trotter is also a race car driver and he operated a repair garage in Mitcham named as Chameleon Coachworks. He has given up his old job as a car mechanic after winning the jackpot and today keeps himself busy by participating in car races. Trotter revealed that he was planning to replace his old Ford Focus with many expensive high-performance sports cars. He says that he was now going to buy a new house with a lot of extra garage space to accommodate all of his new cars.

5. Dave and Angela Dawes: £101 million

The 47-year old Dave Dawes, a shift supervisor for Premier Foods, and his wife, Angela Dawes, who is 43 and works as a volunteer for the British Heart Foundation, won a massive £101 million EuroMillions jackpot in October 2011. The couple are from the town of Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. They say that it was only the third lottery ticket that they had ever bought! That’s extraordinary luck.

6. Unclaimed: £81 million

A British national was said to have won the £81 million EuroMillions jackpot in 2015, but nobody has come forward to accept the prize as yet.

7. Nigel Page: £56 million

The 43-year old Nigel Page won a £56 million EuroMillions jackpot in February 2010. Nigel worked as a van driver, but has given up his old job since winning the big prize money.

8. Anonymous: £46 million

An anonymous person from the UK won a jackpot of £46 million in February 2012.

9. Lee and Sam Scadding: £45 million

An elderly couple from Caerleon in south Wales, Lee and Sam Scadding, were the winners of the £45 million EuroMillions jackpot in November 2009. Lee is a grandfather and a cancer survivor. He was unemployed at the time of winning the lottery.

10. Cassey Carrington: £45 million

Cassey Carrington, a store supervisor won £45 million in the EuroMillions lottery held in February 2012. Casey is the youngest of all lottery winners in this list and was only 22 years old at the time of winning. She has since married her boyfriend Matt Topham, a painter.
